Our client, an investment platform, wanted to build links & grow website traffic by 30%, whilst maintaining conversions. They faced multiple challenges such as diminishing search interest in self-trading after the pandemic, the fierce competition in this YMYL niche, and trust issues in the industry.

Solution

Our campaigns focused on financial scams. As well as being a hot topic, it would help position our client as an authoritative source, knowing we had the expertise to draw on. We made sure to publish high-quality research for this YMYL topic, using data to produce a wide range of angles.

Result

Across these three campaigns, we gained 150 links, with estimated combined campaign views of over 1.5 million! We exceeded their target of a 30% increase in traffic, by increasing their daily users by 100%! All of this on a sensible budget and in a very competitive industry.

We focussed on improving the performance of their search and shopping campaigns, increasing online conversions and ROAS (return on ad spend). We did this by re-structuring their existing campaigns, focussing on driving more from higher value products and retargeting missed conversions.

A huge increase in online transactions has turbocharged their transaction revenue by 278%, and increased their return on ad spend to 1500%. This has been achieved whilst decreasing their monthly budget spend on clicks.
